Wow that movie was othing like The Da Vinci Code. The Da Vinci Code had to do with Jesus and Mary Magadaline. and the search for the heir. This was about the finding of a secret treasure hidden in America. I thought the film was very well put together. I enjoyed National Treasure. It also is alot brighter and more cheerful than The Da Vinci Code. Nicholas Cage has been awesome in every sib=ngle role he has played. he is just one of those guys that do awesome. he has changed his persona very well in all of them too. He can do comedy, romance, action...ALL OF IT. i personally am excited to see the second National Treasure

Apparently, 2MovieGuys, you have no sense of cinematic intelligence. Nicolas Cage is a frikin badass that can change his persona and characteristics to mold any type of genre, i.e. THE ROCK, ADAPTATION, CITY OF ANGELS, FACE-OFF, and more recently NEXT.
Perhaps you should go back to movie grade school, locate a sac and some balls so you may back up what you say.

...Oh who cares?? Not Me!! The 1st " "National Treasure" was nothing but a blatant cheap knock of "The Da Vinci Code". I was surprised that Dan Brown author of "The Da Vinci Code" didn't sue Disney! I believe I fell asleep in the 1st film. I guess Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel, Ed Harris, Bruce Greenwood and Helen Mirren needed to pay rent, so that is why they need to make this crap!! Nicolas Cage needs to stop making crap I.E. "Con Air", "Ghost Rider" & go back and make edgier films like "Leaving Las Vegas", "Lord of War" & "Bringing Out the Dead"!
