Despite only opening on a Friday, a DreamWorks Animation new release had no troubles topping the charts last week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, How to Train Your Dragon topped both the DVD and Blu-ray sales charts, for the week ending October 17.The only other notable theatrical release on the shelves last week was Jonah Hex, which finished in fifth place on both DVD and Blu-ray sales charts. The TV DVD set The Tudors: The Final Season took eighth place on the DVD sales charts while holdover Iron Man 2 remained in second place on both the DVD sales and DVD rental charts.
The Karate Kid repeated in first place on the rental charts, with How to Train Your Dragon finishing in third place in rentals behind Iron Man 2. It was said, though, that if How to Train Your Dragon would've been released on a Tuesday instead of Friday, it would've finished as the top rental.
How to Train Your Dragon finished the week off atop the Blu-ray sales charts with Beauty and the Beast in second place and Iron Man 2 in third place in BD sales.
How to Train Your Dragon was released March 26th, 2010 and stars Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig. The film is directed by Dean DeBlois, Chris Sanders.

Got mine almost a month ago. Watched it again tonight. Still get teary-eyed and that pleasant chill twice. What a perfect movie this was.
I just feel sorry for one of my coworkers. He couldn't find a copy of it at all this week :P
