Bloody Disgusting confirmed rumors this weekend that Hostel III has started to head into production. While Lionsgate and Sony Screen Gems had always intended to continue the franchise with a third film, talks fell silent after the poor box office take of Hostel Part II.

Early talks have indeed begun for a third torturous outing of this extreme horror film. At this current moment in time, there is no word on how involved Eli Roth, the series' original creator, will be. And it isn't clear if this third film will be a theatrical release or a direct-to-DVD masterpiece.
