According to The Hollywood Reporter Holt McCallany (Fight Club) has joined the cast of Silver Pictures' The Losers. The film is being distributed by Warner Bros.

Sylvain White will be directing the film. It is an adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comic book about a band of black ops commandos who are set up to be killed by their own government. They barely survive and set out to get even.

The series was first published by the DC Comics imprint Vertigo in the 1970s. Gregory Noveck, who oversees DC Comics film transformations, will be involved in a producing capacity.

McCallany will play the role of Wade, a special-ops officer who has abandoned the group. Zoe Saldana and Jason Patric are also in the film.

The Losers was released April 23rd, 2010 and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Óscar Jaenada, Jason Patric, Holt McCallany. The film is directed by Sylvain White.
