    @brady1138 Argument is valid :)

    But take into account, Mr Hopkins will not mess up the role he has fought his whole career to play... I have faith, in him and the producer do to consider they handed him this role on a silver platter

    @jayaottley Agreed.

    @ejk1 Indeed, it is a rather unorthodox premise.

    @yannick-decorte But you have yet to see how he plays the role. An actor can portray someone else and look like an exact clone, but if the actual portrayal of the personality is off, it defeats the purpose. You have yet to see him in motion and how he plays the Hitchc*ck role. Still photos rarely represent the feel of the final film. I respect your opinion, but I'm just presenting my argument :)

    @ejk1 As well just though of it this way its kind of like an extended cut to the making of the film, lol dunno why, I thought that but just did

    @ejk1 I actually would have preferred that a lot more, tbh than a film about the making of a film. Hitchc*ck's life is pretty fascinating, I'm currently reading his biopic called A Life In Darkness & Light.
    As well if they did a biopic haha then they should be coming to my area to film since I live in glorious Leytonstone, birthplace to the legend that is Alfred Hitchc*ck

    @thedude-abides lol, I get you dude, they may not be the best of actresses but they are hot, and well do suit the roles best for the roles they are playing

    @thedude-abides If they were to make a biopic of Hitch, I'm completely down. But all they are doing is making a film about the making of a film. I mean, isn't this why extras on DVD's/BD's were made? To tell the behind the scenes story?

    @bawnian-dexeus I had to edit my post right quick, lol. Yeah, he loves his little "alone time" in the trailer with his blonde actresses.

    @jayaottley I'm not worried about it, even though the casting of Johansson and Biel do worry me somewhat... It's never a good sign when one, let alone both of them is in your movie, lol.

    @ejk1 Sounds like you could care less, lol.

    @ejk1 No problem, dude. I get your opinion and I agree it is desp*cable that Psycho never won an oscar but it was nominated for 4 and sadly its trophy cabinet on contains a golden globe and an Poe award.

    But I'd like to see this win a Best Actor Oscar... Because Hopkins worked hard to get this and its his dream role

    Still pisses me right off that Oldman has only been nominated once in his whole dafauqing career, after the characters, he has brought us.

    @jayaottley No offense, but you're one comment makes me want to puke (because you're probably right). The iconic movie didn't win the win the Oscar, but the film about the making of the iconic film will? Ugh...just...ugh...

    @ejk1 agree, he has the stance down to a T.

    Also I agree with the latter half of your post about Hollywood running out of ideas, another example of your comment is 'Saving, Mr Banks'

    @thedude-abides , dude there is no need to worry about this film... What your witnessing within this image is what an Oscar Award-Winning film is going to look like.

    @brady1138 That's why i don't think it should have been Anthony Hopkins. His looks are just too far from Hitchc*ck's. He just doesn't have that same air.

    @yannick-decorte If they "fixed" his eyes as well, it could be any actor under that makeup. You oftentimes need to leave the eyes be to give the actor room for his performance. When it comes to acting, many say it's all in the eyes.

  26. Yannick Decorte

    The make up is good but Hopkins's eyes are all wrong, it just doesn't work for me. Half of Hitchc*ck's personality was in his eyes, and the other half is done with make-up and prosthetic.

  27. ejk1

    @thedude-abides Well, he has the stance down, I'll give him that. As far as looking or sounding like Hitchc*ck, everyone can youtube Lou Gehrig's "Luckiest Man" speech, then Gary Cooper doing it in The Pride Of The Yankees. You'll see two very different looks and tones. So I guess I'm saying that how he looks and sounds isn't necessarily all that important, especially since there are very few people alive that can talk about Hitchc*ck, the man.

    As for this film itself...not really feeling it. I'm sure it will be good for a film, but to me this is just further evidence that Hollywood has run out of original ideas. They can't make anything up anymore, and since everyone bitches about remakes and reboots, they figured that if they tell stories about how famous films were made, we'd be pacified.
