Tired of fending for herself and her mother's penchant for hard-drinking men and barroom drama, 13-year-old Luli (Chloe Moretz) hits the road on her own, heading west to realize her dream of becoming a superstar. Among her travels she meets Eddie (Eddie Redmayne), a drifter with a chip on his shoulder, and Glenda (Blake Lively), a troubled but spirited woman who takes Luli under her wing. Luli's quick wit, some help from Glenda, the mercurial Eddie, and her colourful daydreams help protect her from the incredibly unpredictable band of characters she encounters on her journey.

Hick was released May 11th, 2012 and stars Chloe Moretz, Blake Lively, Eddie Redmayne, Alec Baldwin, Juliette Lewis, Rory Culkin, Anson Mount, Ray McKinnon. The film is directed by Derick Martini.

Her very 1st film which i can remember was The Amityville Horror , where she was very lil but played a good role on that, follow by "the eye" another good role, So shes been gettin good roles, Anyway u look at it,
Reminds me of Dakota Fanning, who started in "trapped" and slowly worked her way up however i kinda dont like the roles she has been in such as the runaways, which was not a great movie for her, .i like Chloe Moretz alot more than fanning. Her movies r good, howeverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr this1 doesnt look like its her type.
This is kinda like seeing a rapper play in a cowboy film. So doesnt fit or "suit" them.
Hell i dont even know wat this movie is about but it looks like a dread-ful drama

@bawnian-dexeus -- That kind of seems horrible when you think of how many years she's been in the business, but meh - we'll see.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx As for Chloe, she's been and will be come to 2012 involved in 26 films. But only until she appeared in Kick Ass and Let me In has she been getting true roles and no more cameos. As for "accepting nearly everything thrown at her" well, in my opinion, I would say that would have been the issue before Kick Ass. But hey, if she can do it, who's to stop her. And depending on her schedule, for all we know she might be like 2 months per film and as a whole, maybe a whole year booked for the release of 6 films between now and 2012

I mean, she's picking some films with some potential, but this is certainly not one of them.

@bawnian-dexeus -- What I have seen so far, I think she choose some good roles, I don't feel the same for Chloe Moretz. It's almost as if she accepts nearly every role thrown at her.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Look at Jessica Chastain. She started out in 2008, and as now, between then and the films that will be released this year, totals up 8 and six of those for this year. And as of now, her breakthrough film has been The Debt.

@bawnian-dexeus -- I can understand that, but how many films has she been in when you round it up to last year and this year? Not even mentioning the films she will be in-in the coming years.

@bawnian-dexeus -- I don't think "burn out" fit quite as well as "If she keeps playing in all these movies, her talent will falter".

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx At least our actors/actresses are getting work man. All it takes is one film to start their career or bring it back to life

@bawnian-dexeus -- Eh, never had that in mind. I find her to be a "good" younger actress. I think "Kick-Ass" was her breakthrough role, but I think everyone is kissing her ass on whichever movie she's in. I thought she did "good" in "Let Me In" - I don't understand the praise she got on that one. All in all, I personally feel shes playing in too many movies, she's going to burn out soon.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx I can't really say by the clip, only that I'm suspecting the cowboy to rape her. But since she's a growing favorite of mine, I may tolerate it if it turns out a disaster.
