Heroes Star Hayden Panettiere to Release Her First Album

We all know that in the universe of Heroes, in order to save the world, we must first save Hayden Panettiere's cheerleader. But what we didn't know was that we would also be saving the eighteen-year-old actress's debut album. Hollywood.com brings us the news that her debut album would be released later in 2008.

The actress first began recording songs at the age of 15, with her music appearing in movie soundtracks including Bridge to Terabithia. However the actress states that her new work is a change from the songs of her early teen years.

Panettiere has been working on the album for the past three years, but was only able to devote some serious time to updating the record due to the WGA strike.

"I've grown up a lot since I started."
