Henry Cavill starring in Mabrouk El Mechri's The Cold Light of Day
Cavill, who stars in the TV series The Tudors, will play an arrogant Wall Street stockbroker who gives into his family's wishes and takes a vacation in Spain, when his family gets kidnapped and he becomes entangled with government conspiracies and must uncover his father's deepest secret to return his family to safety.
Mabrouk El Mechri will direct from a script by Richard Price, who is rewriting the original script by Scott Wiper and John Petro. The film is slated to start production on September 6 with filming to take place in Spain.
The Cold Light of Day comes to theaters September 7th, 2012 and stars Bruce Willis, Henry Cavill, Sigourney Weaver, Joseph Mawle, Caroline Goodall, Jim Piddock, Rafi Gavron, Óscar Jaenada. The film is directed by Mabrouk El Mechri.

I'm not overly excited bu this particular project, but it's great seeing Henry getting lead roles. He was super charismatic in THE TUDORS, and his new movie IMMORTALS promises to be a stunning epic by visual genious Tarsem Singh.
