Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

Tom Welling has the Superman/Clark Kent look, but his acting skills need work. He's always so one note and monotone. The show lacked on numerous levels. I liked Brandon Routh's portrayal of the Man of Steel. The story sucked big time and the addition of a super kid and Lois having a boyfriend was lame. If it was going to be a sequel to Superman II, they should have hired an actress that somewhat resembled Margo Kidder. I was psyched for Superman Returns, but was disappointed. With Man of Steel, I'm not going to even think about it until I see it. I like Henry Cavill. He did a good job in Immortals. At first I was glad that the super suit was updated, but now when I see Superman in his new suit. It seems like he forgot to put on those red shorts. It looks like something is missing.

idk if anyone has ever noticed but USUALLY any British actor playing a character with an American Accent usually does a pretty damn good job, for example: Christian Bale as Batman, Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes(Walking dead), Hugh Laurie as House, Robert Pattinson as Edward(TOTALLY KIDDING ABOUT THIS ONE). But just look at British actors who play with American Accents, they are NORMALY well done. I believe this movie will revive Superman because Nolan is the overhead, Snyder is the director, and i just believe Cavill will do a Great job. I guess we will have to see though with Henry Cavill as Superman and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man

@Doreen-Mahonez Superman Return is not a remake is a sequel to Superman II from 1980 sequel to the Superman 1978. This new Superman Film will the first Reboot of the new superman franchise. no relation to the old superman film.

So far, I'm still not buying into this film. Everyone keeps forgetting that Nolan and Goyer both left many months ago, and script revisions have been in Kurt Johnstad of 300. That doesn't say "epic" in my eyes.

At least it shows that actors are not all selfish. That kid probably cant believe his luck. Good for him i say. @Doreen-Mahonez not all reboots are bad, what Nolan did with batman made it cool to like movies based on comics and proved that comic book movies dont always have to be piss poor films.

@ChristinaM15 I am, but that doesn't mean I haven't been seeing what's been going on in the movie industry. Remake after remake. Even of movies that haven't been out for 10 years. It get's annoying is all i'm saying!
