Hellraiser: 20th Anniversary Edition Sticks to DVD October 23

In a story from DavisDVD, Starz Home Entertainment will be bringing out the Hellraiser: 20th Anniversary Edition on October 23.

Synopsis:
A man finds he is given more than he bargains for when he solves the puzzle of the Lamont Configuration - a doorway to hell. But his ex-lover has found a way of bringing him back, and his niece, Kirsty Lawrence, finds herself bargaining with the Cenobites, angels to some, demons to others, whose greatest pleasure is the greatest pain.

    Not a big fan of Hellriaser. i think it's stupid. a Special Edition is a waste of time for a movie like this. But, i agree, it wouldn't be so bad if it had some extended scenes in it. like a Director's Cut or something.

    too little too late. they have released so many editions of the movie that is has worn its welcome in my book. The image of pinhead has become that of a pinup and although the first two are still great films for horror and still are nice to watch every now and again, the platinum anniversary directors extended unrated cuts are just getting old.

    NO TRIVIA TRACK?? NO DIRECTORS CUT?? Most of these "S0-CALLED" DVD Features have already been on other releases of "Hellraiser". The only thing that could have been added were the extra "Bonus Interviews" that were on the Collector's Edition VHS editions that came out a few years ago.

    It's about time, this is a great, original horror classic with genuine suspense and imagination. The Hellraiser movies after the 3rd one sucked. Looking forward to the theatrical remake Clive Barker is doing.
