Heat Video Game Expected in 2007

When Michael Mann made Heat in 1995, a video game of the movie was probably the furthest thing from his mind.

Well according to Variety, Regency Enterprises and Titan Productions will be making that a reality. The two companies are hoping to lure a partner for the Heat video game at the E3 conference this week.

Currently the film's stars Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are not part of the project, nor is director Michael Mann. Producers of the game are hoping "to get them on board."

The game will follow the film and will focus on the police on the trail of a thief. Players can choose which role they want to play.

The game is expected to be released in 2007.
