HBO Already Thirsty for More True Blood
While the series debuted modestly on the pay-cable network, the series' second episode posted an "unprecedented" ratings increase of 24% from the debut.
"We are absolutely thrilled that the critics and our viewers have embraced True Blood," said Michael Lombardo, president of programming group and West Coast operations at HBO. "Alan Ball has done it again--made an addictive series that is unlike any other."
"I am thrilled to be able to continue to work with such a talented group of writers, cast and crew to explore the characters and world created by Charlaine Harris in her novels," said Alan Ball, executive producer of True Blood.

the show is great
but anna paquin's accent is really bad
True Blood is good though learning about the vampire mythology
i'm glad there's some sort of realism in it rather than being a straight up fantasy

I was slow to enjoy Entourage but once the show got rolling I liked it even better. If True Blood is given time to find it's niche then it should be another great HBO series.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and found it to be just okay. Not crazy about it, but don't hate it either.
