The writers behind two popular stoner comedies are taking on a new brand of comedy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hayden Schlossberg and Jon Hurwitz (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo) have sold their latest script, Grandma vs. Grandma.

The story centers on two 60-plus grandmothers who keep battling for the affections of their grandchildren while their parents are away. Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing under their Red Wagon production company.

The film is said to be more along the lines of a family comedy and they will aim for a PG-13 rating. No production schedule was released as of yet.
