One of the Heroes is set to enter another nation. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hayden Panettiere has signed on to star in Daydream Nation. Kieran Culkin is in negotiations to star alongside her, and the film will be written and directed by Michael Goldbach, who is making his directorial debut.

The teen comedy is said to be in the vein of Juno and Election. Panettiere will play a sarcastic teen while Culkin will play her toned-down boyfriend.

The producers are aiming for a second or third quarter shooting start, depending on the strike and Panettiere's possible work schedule for Heroes.
