Hayden Christensen to Defend the Beast of Bataan
The film is based on Lawrence Taylor's novel A Trial of Generals. Chris Carlson and Mark Jean wrote the adaptation, which looks at the aftermath of the 1942 Bataan Death March. 10,000 American and Filipino POWs died on this forced march to captivity. Christensen will play Homma's young lawyer, trying his first case and fighting against the death penalty for his client.
The film will begin shooting in Australia this February.
