Porco Rosso getting sequel
Porco Rosso: The Last Sortie would pick up long after Porco flew off to a semi-mysterious fate at the end of the first film. In the sequel, we would see the flying pig much older, in part to reflect the advanced age of his creator.
"I think that I must think about only a movie of a boy."
"I do not need to make a movie if it is not a tragic story of a boy."
"So I want to escape to Porco Rosso: The Last Sortie. I have all its materials."
"It should be interesting."
"It is set for Spanish Civil War."

Hayao Miyazaki went on in the article:
If next two films succeed and Suzuki-san lets me make it (Porco) while saying, 'It cannot be helped because it's a hobby of the old man', I'm happy. It's my hobby...I had thought about the possibility of "Porco Rosso: The Last Sortie" in the morning. But before Shibuya-san (the interviewer) come here, I thought 'It's not good after all, It's just my hobby.'

He should make another Lupin movie. Although I like the other Lupin movies I've seen, none come close to "The Castle of Cagliostro."

@Diaigma:I agree.Totoro and Mononoke were his best.Spirited Away was awesome but does not need sequel, nither does Howls since they both ended on a high note.

Really? This doesn't need a sequel. It's not even one of his best. How about another Mononoke or Totoro instead?

Couldn't Miyazaki have write a sequel to one of his films that was actually watchable? Like "Spirited Away" or "Howl's Moving Castle"?
