Harvey Weinstein Wants Another Rambo?
According to Deadline Hollywood, Harvey Weinstein, whose WeinsteinCo distributed the latest Rambo actioner along with Lionsgate, would love to see a fifth Rambo film. He also mentioned the plot line saying he wants to bring "the character back to the United States".
Weinstein added, "I like the idea of an older guy kicking ass. Maybe it's because I'm older, too."
Rambo took second place at the box office this past weekend with $18.1 million, just behind Meet the Spartans' $18.7 million take.
Weinstein predicts that the film will earn, "$50 million here and $100 million to $150 million foreign. That's what usually happens since this franchise is really big overseas."
Rambo was released January 25th, 2008 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Julie Benz, Matthew Marsden, Graham McTavish, Reynaldo Gallegos, Jake La Botz, Tim Kang, Maung Maung Khin. The film is directed by Sylvester Stallone.

No surprise here, the same people who bash the movie are the same people who go and watch these movies.
In Hollywood, if a movie makes no money it gets canned, period. Obviously Rambo, has made some money so they will continue to produce them.
Even poor quality movies make money, blame the movie goers, not the producers.

The Movie was good and very violent (even better...) i wonder what the people of burma think of it and the violence the burmese army does to the villagers? very BRUTAL!...
But Rambo has come full circle..and i think it would be wise for stallone to finally bring rambo home rest in peace the same way he did rocky...SALUTE !.

I haven't seen the new Rambo, but it came in second over the weekend after MEET THE SPARTANS. 'Nuff said.
But as long as Stallone has his HGH, he'll be willing to do 12 of these. heh, heh, heh

How about that, a Hollywood producer who admits he sees "$$$" signs 247 with the Rambo franchise.
Greed has nothing to do with it, he likes the idea of an older guy kicking ass.....yeah right!
Rambo vs KKK, mafia...oh I know Terrorists!
Now that I've given the plot away Sly can start production :o)
