Harry Potter Tops Sales While A History of Violence Tops Rentals
The Hollywood Reporter says, in its second week in stores, the fourth film in the Harry Potter franchise still managed to outsell Violence, which stars Viggo Mortensen and William Hurt, by a margin of nearly 2-1.
Also new on VideoScan's First Alert DVD sales chart for the week ending March 19: Warner's Good Night, And Good Luck. debuting at number 5, and Lionsgate's direct-to-video Barbie: Fairytopia, which bowed at number 6.

A History of Violence was released September 23rd, 2005 and stars Viggo Mortensen, Maria Bello, Ed Harris, William Hurt, Ashton Holmes, Peter MacNeill, Stephen McHattie, Greg Bryk. The film is directed by David Cronenberg.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was released November 18th, 2005 and stars Eric Sykes, Timothy Spall, David Tennant, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Mark Williams, James Phelps. The film is directed by Mike Newell.
