Warner Bros. Pictures has set the date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth film in the series, for Friday, November 28, 2008, Thanksgiving Day weekend.

Paramount Pictures also set November 7, 2008 for DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar 2, notes The Hollywood Reporter. The film stars the voice talents of returning favorites, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett-Smith and David Schwimmer

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the fifth in the series, is currently in production; a July 13, 2007 release has been scheduled.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was released July 15th, 2009 and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Gambon, Dave Legeno, Elarica Gallacher, Jim Broadbent, Geraldine Somerville, Bonnie Wright, Julie Walters. The film is directed by David Yates.
