'Hannah Montana: The Movie' Tops The DVD Sales Charts

The Miley Cyrus film was also the week's top-selling Blu-ray disc.
Hannah Montana: The Movie Not even a horrific house could stop a teen sensation on the home video charts this week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hannah Montana: The Movie took the top spot on the national DVD sales charts, for the week ending August 23.

In a week that saw little competition in theatrical releases, a TV DVD set was given room to shine. Dexter: The Third Season took second place on the DVD sales charts, a very impressive feat for a TV DVD set. The Last House on the Left was the only other notable release, taking third place on the sales charts but capturing the rental crown. Last week's top seller and rental, I Love You, Man, slipped to second place in rentals and fourth place in sales.

Hannah Montana: The Movie also took the top spot in Blu-ray sales, with The Last House on the Left taking second place in BD sales.
