Hank Azaria has just signed with Columbia Pictures to join the highly anticipated Judd Apatow-produced comedy Year One. According to Variety, Azaria will join a cast that stars Jack Black, Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Olivia Wilde, David Cross, Vinnie Jones, Juno Temple and Oliver Platt.

Year One was written by Gene Stupnitsky, Lee Eisenberg and Harold Ramis, and will be directed by Ramis. The anticipated comedy centers on two men who wander through early civilization in biblical times.

Filming for Year One has recently begun on location in New Mexico and Louisiana.

Year One was released June 19th, 2009 and stars Jack Black, Michael Cera, Oliver Platt, David Cross, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Vinnie Jones, Hank Azaria, Juno Temple. The film is directed by Harold Ramis.
