Hammer Films to Be Revived by John de Mol
Cyrte Investments, under De Mol, has bought the rights to Hammer's entire film library. According to Variety, these include the Hammer versions of such classics as Count Dracula and His Vampire Brides, Frankenstein, and the Mummy.
Hammer Film Productions hasn't made a movie since the late 80s. With the studio on the comeback, they will start producing at least two to three movies a year. There may even be a Hammer TV series in the works.
