In a story from Variety, Halle Berry will be starring in the action-thriller Dark Tide for director Clark Johnson (S.W.A.T.).

The film is being produced by Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey (Twilight).

The script for Dark Tide was written by Amy Sorlie. It follows a diving instructor who goes back to deep waters after an almost fatal incident with a Great White shark.

Dark Tide will shoot in South Africa later this year.
