Halle Berry likely to return as Storm in X-Men: Days of Future Past
In a recent interview, the actress stated that she is 90% sure director Bryan Singer is bringing her back into the fold, and that the character has a substantial role in this prequel-sequel mash-up. At this time, she has not officially signed a deal, but its highly unlikely that she will drop out or that she will be replaced, as the film begins shooting in a little over a month, with production starting in April.
Halle Berry has played Storm three times, in X-Men and X2: X-Men United, both directed by Bryan Singer , and lastly in X-Men: The Last Stand, directed by Brett Ratner.
Halle Berry most recently appeared in the sketch comedy film Movie 43 and Warner Bros' historic thriller Cloud Atlas.
Official studio confirmation on the actress' return is expected soon, with Bryan Singer to most likely announce it on his personal Twitter page.
X-Men: Days of Future Past comes to theaters July 18th, 2014 and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman. The film is directed by Bryan Singer.

@incmob Ya they should really leave the accent alone. Either get someone who is Kenyan or can do that accent or dont touch it. That is worse than botching a Brittish accent or a southern accent IMO.

Out side of the X-men films I find she's a better actress, loved her version of Catwoman however Sharon Stone was a little off. Just recently I bought a collection of Sly Stallone films under one package and I enjoyed all of them.
I remember that she did another film with Hugh Jackman but I can't seem to remember the title. John Travolta did a bad performance in it.
The actress/comedian that played Will Smith's aunt in his TV series looks like Storm. Though I think she's too old for the part now.

@incmob Vanessa Williams can't act? What universe do you live in? I don't think she's right for this character, but then I don't think Berry is either. I would have liked Thandie Newton in this role, or an unknown.

@zender i agree. i think at the time there was very few actresses that could fill the role. predominately she was at that time the most well known black actress to portray storm. i remember in the early 90's that vanessa williams was the solid choice. of course she had the look of storm but could not act worth a damn. would not bother me a bit if storm was recast.

Eh. The reason people want her back, is because she was always and WILL always be a background character. She's never been a focus and never had any character development in all three films. So people want her back, because they haven't seen her being a bad Storm. Well, at least she's not Catwoman anymore...
