@strbJun, this sounds far more "relatable" to the average viewer than TDK. Lol. I mean a guy in a position in which he doesn't know what to do. Pretty simple.

What? No there have been far creepier premises to films. To me this sounds like it's gonna be hilarious. That is if they make it the way I think they are. Cool.

I'm sometimes dumbfounded by the silly ideas that hollywood has which nobody can really relate to. What makes movies great? When people can relate to them. Even when they are a zaney film or a scifi film... if, on some level, people can relate to it to some degree then, yes, it becomes popular.
Yes, people could relate to the wedding singer, to the original star wars, to lord of the rings, and yes, dark knight. That is what made those and many other movies great. But this? I just don't see it. I predict a dismal failure and a crappy film.
Some of these producers that approve these concepts must live on an entirely different planet when they think concepts like this could make money. They keep trying it but it almost never works. Go back to film school, guys, as the first thing they teach you: help the audience connect to the characters. No matter how story or concept oriented a movie may be, it MUST have the audience connect. How can the audience connect to such a silly concept? I bet you, too, that I can predict exactly how the story will flow from beginning to end just from that very blurb.

I'd be happy to see Osment is something new, but yes, "creepy" is appropriate here :P
