Haley Bennett joins Oliver Blackburn's Kristy
The story centers on Kristy, who is essentially by herself on campus over Thanksgiving break. When a violent gang targets her, she must face her deepest fears and fight back. The project is said to be in the same vein as Rosemary's Baby.
Anthony Jaswinski (Vanishing on 7th Street) wrote the most recent draft of the screenplay, which was originally written by Scott Rosenberg and Gary Fleder. Jamie Patricof and Lynette Howell are producing through their Electric City Entertainment company, alongside David Kirschner and Corey Sienega. No production schedule was given.
Random comes to theaters August 30th, 2013 and stars Ashley Greene, Lucas Till, Haley Bennett, Chris Coy, David Jensen, Mike Seal, Al Vicente, Lucius Falick. The film is directed by Oliver Blackburn.
