Guy Ritchie set for King Author project
Hodge is working on the script with Ritchie. The project aims to be a re-imagining of the legend of Arthur, believed to have been a 6th century king who defended Britain against Saxon invaders. Key source material will be Thomas Mallory's "Le Morte d'Arthur," published in 1485 as a compilation of French and English tales.
No production date has been set.

Yeah Slysnide, I hear you. I actually really like Silver Bullet also. It's one of my favorite Steven King adaptations. I guess it's depressing to see a star from my generation slipping away like that. Pisses me off. Where was Dr. Drew when this happened? Where was "Intervention"? There should be a system in place to save these actors from themselves and not just be free to spiral into oblivion. We would still have Heath, River, and now Corey.

Is the King Arthur legend the one dealing with Excalibur, Merlin and Gwenevere and all that good stuff. If so Guy Ritchie and Hodge just seem like they wouldn't have a broad enough scope. The film wouldn't be as epic as it should.

Well Vanboy, he wasn't really that notable. His only 2 good roles were "Lucas" & "The Lost Boys." Plus they probably want more details first. But what he said on Larry King 2yrs ago was apparently true: "I'll be a chronic relapser for the rest of my life." RIP all the same.

Anyway, there goes that Silver Bullet sequel I was wishing for. DAMN F**KING DRUG DEALING BASTARDS! HOPE THEY ROT IN HELL! AND GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!

I just Can't wait! It'll be a Fantastic movie. With you looking back into history, then it should be accurate enough. I've always admired King Arthur. People have been saying hes only a legend and not real. I hope he was a real person. That would be a good foundation of Life(knowing he was a real person), because he helped Save people from mauraders/murders. I wish there would be more movies like this.
