Guy Ritchie Set to Direct Lobo
The film will serve as Ritchie's follow-up to this Christmas' Sherlock Holmes, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. The character first appeared in the 1983 DC comic Omega Men, written by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen. Lobo has had several comic incarnations. In this new film, he will be a seven-foot tall, blue-skinned, indestructible and heavily muscled anti-hero who drives a pimped out motorcycle, and lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc. Lobo teams with a small town teenaged girl to stop the creatures.
Warner Brothers is looking to make the film PG-13 rated. Production on Lobo is set to being early next year.

I wonder how big Lobos dick would be if he were real and if i can fit it in my ass. So far I can take a whole 10 inches. I didn't even know human dicks could get that long. King Kong was a 60-foot tall ape with boners for blonde chicks.
Gollum was a hunched over...thing with boners for a ring.
Lobo, while being alien, still has all the characteristics of a human being, save for the gray skin(or in this case, f*cking blue): he walks upright, has hair and smokes, among other things. You can do Lobo without CGI...you can't do King Kong or Gollum without CGI.
Now MOTION CAPTURE on the other hand would allow an actual actor to portray Lobo without it looking cheesy...think Beowulf. The entire movie could look like that. But make-up has gotten advanced since the days of Ferigno as the Hulk(which, btw, still looked realistic). Just look at Mystique or Hellboy. They weren't CGIed. So whatever the filmmakers plan to do to bring Lobo to life should work...as long as it's not CGI.

Ok i did a bit more througher research into this, according to some news i read in a mag today, it's called 'SHORTLIST' and its published every thursday for free in my area.
In an interview with Gerald Butler discussing his role in Gamer and as the 'British Action Star.'
One of the question revealed on to that Guy Ritchie's next film after 'Sherlock Holmes' will be RocknRolla 2, according to the reporter, Guy Ritchie stated that RocknRolla will be a trilogy, and that Ritchie has already written RocknRolla 2 & is planning out RocknRolla 3.
They were asking Gerald Butler if he is going to reprise his role from RocknRolla for the sequel.
So i'm not completely too sure about this Lobo news anymore, because i remember Ritchie saying in an interview that he did originally plan RocknRolla as a trilogy.

There's a laundry list of actors that could play Lobo, but the point is
1) He's not f*cking blue.
2) He's not PG 13. At all.
I hope this is mis-reported or gag news, even with how cool the Guy Ritchie part is.

i think they should leave spawn alone, ill be interested in seeing the maxx made into an adaption, that'll be sweeeet. if lobo is rated pg 13 its gonna flop, they just trying to get all the money they can from it. which sucks for true fans, but maybe it'll get some of these knuckle heads to start getting into the comic books, who knows.
