Gretchen Mol has joined the cast of the upcoming Lifetime original film The Memory Keeper's Daughter. According to Variety, Dermot Mulroney and Emily Watson have also joined the cast of this emotional drama.

The film is based on Kim Edwards's best selling novel of the same name. The plot revolves around a mother that gives birth to twins. One of them has Down syndrome and is secretly raised by another woman after Mol's character is told that the baby has died at childbirth.

Mick Jackson, best known for directing Tuesdays With Morrie, will helm this original telefilm. It is set to debut in March of 2008.
