Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes are The Kennedys
Kinnear will portray President John F. Kennedy while Holmes will play First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. Barry Pepper has also signed on to play Robert Kennedy while Tom Wilkinson will play John and Robert's father, Joe Kennedy Sr.
The History Channel will air the eight-hour mini-series in 2011, the first time they've ever ran a mini-series. The storyline was said to revolve around the personal relationships between family members in the Kennedys. Steve Kornish is writing the script for Jon Cassar to direct.
