GreeneStreet Films and Ross Katz are set to produce the offbeat mystery, Strange but True.

The film is based on the John Searles novel, says The Hollywood Reporter; it begins when a teenager's girlfriend arrives at his family's home five years after his death insisting that she is pregnant with his child.

The parties haven't set a production schedule on Strange but True.
