@lane1 well it was my opinion, i was not basing it on critics reviews, or other gamers... Even still if spider man were a rare exception to my statement that is a very low percent that actually is received well by a vast majority.

most every game that ties in with a movie or superhero movie, is well received prior to it coming out... however it is a a dime a dozen that is loved the same when it is released.

@incmob - I beg to differ. While there are very few exceptions, Spider-man was one of those rarities where the games were on par with the films (the first 2 atleast). They were even reviewed as such, with high praises from both critics and gamers.

I would like to see this game be a success, kinda like the Spider-Man games. But it seems like 99% of games made from movie adaptations just suck...so im guessing this one will suck too. Praying that it doesn't.

I would love to see something like Mass Effect style gaming with GL corps. What i mean by that is deciding which galaxies to travel to and which planets to make your stand on. I dont expect any RP elements from a GL game but that would be very interesting to have an open world type galaxy setting as @oakfam mentioned.

I hope the game is good beacause the GL premise just begs a video game. I love the cosmic aspect of the franchise. He's always been my fav DC hero and i am not much of a DC fan. This game has potential as long as its not a quick cash in....which i suspect it may be.

This game will be like all superhero tie-in games... they use cinematics for the trailers, but then the gameplay is very static, stale and repetetive. no game has ever looked as good as the trailers for this genre... period.
