about time they realized they didn't have enough time to do GL right. It'd rather they take their time with something as unique as GL than rush it into a FAN-FOUR crapfest!

They're still working on casting Hal Jordan, plus all the visual effects this movie will require, AND trying to hit a December 2010 release date...that definitely seems to be too short a time to get everything together and get it right. I'd rather wait and have it be really good!

No the 6 month halt is for the SFX....I noted down to people that the script extract was very SFX heavy.
The delay won't be for pre-production or production, ut actually post-production.

Just like HP was pushed back for SFX & so was Prince Of Persia.

Making a film like GL in the space of a year is near impossible especially with a SFX heavy script.
They would need to be creating the SFX without seeing the footage through online editing.

Which creating SFX for footage through offline editing is literally impossible.

The only way they could make Aquaman cool is if there was some type of like monster underwater destroying subs and so forth. He's kinda like a mer-man that's probably why he gets made fun of so much.

  23. Brainiac

mixed emotion. it prolly means they r more confident in the movie then b4 so they think it can stand up to the summer competition, but it also means i have to wait longer, so damnit and yippy!

okay, aside from Aquaman gettin made fun of all the time in all other forms of media, wut is really so bad bout him. idk i just like all the classic DC heroes, so i like him even though most think he is lame.

As long as it gets completed, and not continually shuffled off until abandonment. Maybe they need time for rewrites to make it more budget friendly, or (really small possibility) they're working their way toward a serious Justice League Movie (which actually wouldn't be that great at this point, unless they left Batman and Supes out of the mix, and just went with MM, GL, THe Flash, Black Canary and...sigh...Aquaman (or ANY OTHER DC character. F*ck, I'd be happier with Lobo than Aquaman))
