Green Hornet Preview Will Be at Comic-Con 2009
"Comic-Con is my favorite event of the year," Rogen said. "It's more fun to me than the movie premieres, than anything. I love Comic-Con. All of our friends come down for it, and we just have a really good time, and it's always a lot of fun. I would love nothing more than to be able to show something at Comic-Con."
Rogen made this statement despite the fact that shooting for The Green Hornet won't begin until May, Rogen and Evan Goldberg are still re-working the script, and director Stephen Chow has not yet relocated from Hong Kong. That said, Rogen is having meetings this week to talk to the studio and Chow about what they might be able to have ready in time for Comic-Con.
"The process has been very collaborative and very good," Rogen said about the director. "He's given us a lot of ideas. His English is, ... well, we keep saying when we all come out of this, we will be great communicators. He's made great strides, I will say. It presents its own challenges at times. We get along really, really well. We are really just starting the process, very little has actually been done. ... We're actually in the very preliminary stages right now."
Based on the comic book, radio drama and television character, The Green Hornet tells the story of Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher by day, who by night becomes the Green Hornet. Accompanied by his valet, Kato, the Hornet fights against the crimes of the underworld while pretending to be a crime boss himself. Rogen will star as Reid, while Chow will co-star as Kato. The Green Hornet will roll in to theatres June 25, 2010.
The Green Hornet was released January 14th, 2011 and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, Christoph Waltz, David Harbour, Edward James Olmos, Jamie Harris. The film is directed by Michel Gondry.

My expectations for this were recently lowered, so when the preview is leaked online, it better be good

Sounds good to me! Can't wait to see how this mess is gonna turn out! It would be sweet to have a teaser for the 2009 Comic-Con, though I won't be there to see it!
