Sandra Bullock says Gravity was shot without makeup
Here's what Sandra Bullock had to say below, explaining how she will look in the film's IMAX presentation.
"God help us all when my face comes rushing at you with no makeup on. I'm going to apologize now, but Alfonso, in a brilliant move, said, 'No makeup.' Our vain little heads are going to be some massive 17-foot image. You are going to see details because it's shot on this digital film that shows everything. It's so scary. There are scenes where you say, 'This is where you have to let go and let God.' And, thank God, there are no nude scenes."
Since we haven't seen a trailer for Gravity yet, it is unclear how the no-makeup policy will affect the look of this drama. Gravity centers on a medical engineer (Sandra Bullock) and an astronaut (George Clooney) trapped in space after their shuttle is destroyed.
In an earlier interview, George Clooney had expressed his concerns about shooting Gravity in 3D saying this.
"It's the first time I've been in 3-D and, hopefully, the last time."
Now we know why the actor is so nervous about the process.
Gravity comes to theaters November 21st, 2012 and stars Sandra Bullock, George Clooney. The film is directed by Alfonso Cuarón.
