Clint Eastwood and his classic car mowed down any and all competition in their path on the home video charts. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gran Torino was the runaway winner, sweeping the national DVD sales, rental and Blu-ray sales charts, in its first week on the shelves.

The new release's closest competition wasn't even that close at all, with fellow new title The International the closest competitor in DVD sales in second place, although it was a distant second place. Gran Torino outsold The International by a staggering margin of seven to one.

Gran Torino bumped off He's Just Not That Into You, last week's top seller and rental, on the sales and rental charts, with the romantic comedy finishing in third place on the sales charts and second place on the rental charts, ahead of The International which took third in rentals.

While Gran Torino completed the sweep by taking the Blu-ray sales charts, there were a few other notable titles on the charts this week. New release Woodstock 40th Anniversary took a solid seventh place on the DVD sales charts and sixth place on the Blu-ray sales charts, while super-holdover Taken continues its impressive run by jumping up a spot to fourth place in DVD sales and up another spot in Blu-ray sales from fourth to third.
