The cast of a new remake series' pilot keeps getting bigger and bigger. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grace Park (Battlestar Galactica) has come aboard the pilot Hawaii Five-O for CBS.

Park will join a cast that already includes Alex O'Loughlin, Daniel Dae Kim and Taryn Manning, with Len Wiseman set to direct the pilot. Park will play Kono Kalakaulau, the niece of Kim's Chin Ho Kelly character who is about to graduate from the police academy and asked by O'Loughlin's Steve McGarrett to join their elite squad.

Fringe creators Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman came up with the pilot idea with CSI: NY executive producer Peter Lenkov, who wrote the pilot script based on the story they conceived together. All three will serve as executive producers on the pilot.

Does Alex O'Loughlin have embarrassing photos of CBS executives? How the hell does this guy keep getting new shows? He hasn't been on one that lasted more than a year. This will be his third CBS show in what, three years? Anyways, Grace Park should be in better things than this, and hopefully she will after this gets cancelled in January 2011.
