Gold Circle Films to Make The Haunting in Georgia

In a story from it looks like Gold Circle Films is currently developing The Haunting in Georgia. The movie is a follow-up to the recent hit The Haunting in Connecticut.

The first film focused on a family that comes to a new state and starts to experience supernatural events in their home. The new film isn't expected to veer too much from this premise, but it will be set in another state.

Ti West (The House of the Devil will be directing the film from a script by David Coggeshall (Solo).

Lionsgate distributed The Haunting in Connecticut and might also put out this new film. A formal deal has yet to be announced.

The term "a hit" is relative. Think about it.

Connecticut only made about $65 million, that is considered a hit? I see a bunch of 'The Haunting in' direct-to-video movies in the future.

Damn man, how many of these haunted house movies are we gonna have. I'm sick of them. I've never got those haunted house movies.
