The actress was interviewed at this year's BAFTAs and said this about Gareth Edwards' upcoming reboot.
"It's definitely not lighthearted. It's kind of going back to its roots of the original Japanese film."
Ishirô Honda's original film followed the giant monster, mutated by nuclear radiation, as he ravaged Japan and brought back the horrors of nuclear devastation to the country. With no official cast announced, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Johnson are rumored to have key roles.

Godzilla comes to theaters May 16th, 2014 and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, Richard T. Jones, Sally Hawkins. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards.
