We reported earlier this week that The Walking Dead creator Frank Darabont is currently rewriting the screenplay. The actor will reportedly wait until this most recent draft is complete, before making a final decision. David S. Gareth Edwards (Monsters) is directing, with Legendary Pictures' Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni producing alongside Mary Parent (Pacific Rim). No production schedule has been released.
Godzilla comes to theaters May 16th, 2014 and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, Richard T. Jones, Sally Hawkins. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards.
