God Bless America Photos Featuring Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr
Bobcat Goldthwait follows his acclaimed comedy World's Greatest Dad with the pitch-black satire God Bless America, which makes its debut as part of the Toronto International Film Festival's Midnight Madness showcase. The movie is being called a Bonnie and Clyde for the 21st Century as a 45 year old man (Joel Murray) and a teenage girl (Tara Lynne Barr) go on a killing spree after being angered by the reality programming of MTV. TIFF has released two new photos from the movie featuring a gun totting Joel Murray and a pistol packing, prairie dress-clad Tara Lynne Barr. Check them out below.

God Bless America was released May 11th, 2012 and stars Joel Murray, Tara Lynne Barr, Mackenzie Brooke Smith, Melinda Page Hamilton, Rich McDonald, Guerrin Gardner, Kellie Ramdhanie, Andrea Harper. The film is directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.

This does look kind of silly, though. I demand the trailer!

gonna be awesome. Loved World's Greatest Dad. One of the best dark comedies that year. This should be great. But yeah, the haters on here will hate and the trolls will be trolls. Yup. Okay bye. :)

@moviewiz001 Me too. I though it would just be her looking into the horizon or at a flag, boy, was that surprising....Like when I saw the first teaser for Kick Ass, that the girl asks for a pony, the dad gets a WTF look on his face and then she goes "I'm just f*cking with you dad..."

Looking at the icon, I thought it was going to be a drama. I press the article and I see she's holding a gun O.O

As much as I agree with the reason (who doesn't want to run amok over MTV's vapid whor*dom?), I'm not sure killing would be the best way to go. But it's a movie, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Somewhat.
