    It's "Englund." Not "English."

Anyway, the original is legendary and everlasting, but I'm still anxious to see the remake. It looks to be darker and more serious. That doesn't necessarily mean good, though. Of course, I think we can expect the same amount of dreadful acting from the teens, but that's besides the point. I believe Jackie Earle Haley will surprise people with his performance and will be the best thing about the new film. It'll be interesting to see someone else take on the role. I think people who are criticizing his height are trying way too hard to find faults because they are keeping a closed mind about this film. I like the fact that they're at least trying to separate it from the original by making Freddy a more innocent character.

Before the Rob Zombie lovers jump down my throat, yeah, he tried telling his own take on Michael, but that doesn't mean it was any good. It was sickening. Whether this actually results in a good film or not we'll have to see, but I believe that you can like the original and still like it's remake if it attempts to tell the story in a new way while staying faithful to the originals characteristics, and SUCCEEDS in that matter. If I'm wrong and the film does indeed suck majorly, I will admit it, but right now, it looks to be an update worth giving the benefit of the doubt. Seriously, what are you pissed about? It's baffling.

I just hope they have a Freddy that is as clever and witty as Robert English if he is not I think I will be a little let down. That's what made Freddy so bad ass, The watcher new he was going to kill the person but he played with them for a while and we all loved it. The watchers where waiting for that jump out part when Freddy would tare the persons in half. Granted as the history of Freddy went on in the films they got worse as far as production went. I still like Freddy Vs. Jason that was a good version of Freddy I like how the demon part would show up some times like when he jumps out of the water at the lake that's the Freddy I want to see a real demon possessed soul not a damn burn victim that just runs around with a hand full of kitchen knives I hope they do it well. I will be let down. I love the Friday The 13Th remake good job there. Hope they do it again here.

Everyone Clam down stop and think about this for a min I love the original Nightmare and didn't think at 1st it needed to be remade. And now that I think about it I hated the original Star Trek I mean hate it but look at that remake it turned out pretty good and the trailers did no justice to how good of a movie that remake was. Now as far as Nightmare remake goes if I was the people remaking one of the most famous horror movies of all time. I would not show anything in the trailers that people didn't already know about the original film because if I make the trailer makes the movie look so good and people see and do not like the movie then they will damn you to movie hell for it. But if the trailer just show's what you know of the original nightmare and then you see it you will come out going that was pretty good

Yeah, he was great, but somewhere along the line he stopped being scary and started being a comedy routine.

If anyone can do this job great, it's Jackie.

Actually a little bit more excited about this now. The bloody dead walking body bag and the eyes behind the crate are really great stuff. Michael Bay, say what you want about him, but he's been doing pretty good as a horror producer.
