Recording sensation Gladys Knight has agreed to a guest starring turn on NBC's popular sitcom 30 Rock. According to Variety, she will be appearing opposite recurring guest star Edie Falco.

In other casting news, Angela Oh has joined the cast of the CBS drama Cane. She will be playing opposite Jimmy Smits as a recurring character.

At this time, both shows are on hiatus until the writers' strike can be resolved.
