Laguna Beach entrepreneurs Ben (Aaron Johnson), a peaceful and charitable marijuana producer, and his closest friend Chon (Taylor Kitsch), a former Navy SEAL and ex-mercenary, run a lucrative, homegrown industry-raising some of the best weed ever developed. They also share a one-of-a-kind love with the extraordinary beauty Ophelia (Blake Lively). Life is idyllic in their Southern California town... until the Mexican Baja Cartel decides to move in and demands that the trio partners with them. When the merciless head of the BC, Elena (Salma Hayek), and her brutal enforcer, Lado (Benicio Del Toro), underestimate the unbreakable bond among these three friends, Ben and Chon--with the reluctant, slippery assistance of a dirty DEA agent (John Travolta)--wage a seemingly unwinnable war against the cartel. And so begins a series of increasingly vicious ploys and maneuvers in a high-stakes, savage battle of wills.
Savages was released July 6th, 2012 and stars Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jana Banker, Candra Docherty, Patrick Fourmy, Gary Stretch, Benicio Del Toro. The film is directed by Oliver Stone.

I want this because this movie looks very intriguing, and the prize pack is great. I think it might be Blake Lively's and Taylor Kitsch's chance to break out and actually prove they have some acting abilities.

I want this because I loved this movie, I read the book, I have a 40x27 inch poster and I really want it. I know that is not going to get me anywhere, because people below me are doing it. But, I still want it. Salma Hayek, the best part of the whole movie, while addressing the elephant in the room, so to say, is Taylor Kitsch, he was alright, Blake Lively was alright too, but in the book she had more to do than in the movie. Benicio Del Toro was a true savage, with everything he had did, John Travolta is actually playing in a movie besides Old Dogs,YEAH! Aaron Johnson is believable as a buddist type person. And this is right up the alley of Oliver Stone, I loved the transition between a yellow tint, to black and white, to basic. love Love LOVE this movie. AND it stayed true to the book. I just wish Uma Thurman was in it, I think she could have been in it and cut Trevor Donovan out, I think this would have been a bit of a better movie, because I liked PAQU in the book(O's mom, PAQU is an acronym for passive agreesive queen of the universe). Oh, and I would like the items please, LOL!

These prizes should be mine because I've been wanting to see this movie since I first saw the trailer. I love Blake Lively and Benicio Del Toro. I remember watching Scarface (one of the best movies ever made) and World Trade Center, I was hooked on Stone. The plot for Savages has such a different tone from movies that have been coming out lately and it has everything I love. Intelligent pot dealers, sexy, strong women, and crazy violence. Also, John Travolta looks like he's going to do well with the role he was given. And I think this will be good for Taylor Kitsch's acting career. AND in all honesty, this threesome sounds like something to see haha. Extremely excited for this movie, nobody understands. I just love the idea of this!

I must have this because Savages looks like it's Stone's return to his trashy crime origins, a la Scarface and 8 Million Ways to Die. He sort of returned with U-Turn and Natural Born Killers, but those were still more art house than grindhouse.
