Set in a modern day military school, this smash hit gay adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet features hot Broadway "War Horse" actors Seth Numrich and Matt Doyle as the star-crossed lovers.
When eight cadets are left behind at an isolated military high school, the greatest romantic drama ever written seeps out of the classroom and permeates their lives. Incorporating the original text of Romeo and Juliet, YouTube videos, and lip-synced indie rock music, Private Romeo takes viewers to a mysterious and tender place that only Shakespeare could have inspired.

I run my school's GSA I would love to show it at my school. If I got it free we could save our club money. It would be great to show it and possibly get more people to help with gay rights. Thanks

I need to see if this version has the same excellent soundtrack as the Baz Lurhman version.

I have met the AMAZING Matt Doyle a couple of times, and I am always impressed and more than that, inspired, by his talent, both as a singer, and as an actor. I would be honored to include this film in my collection, as both a theatre grad (yes, they make those), a lover of Shakespeare, a movie lover, and a gay man who will one day change the world of theatre.

I would like to add this to my collection, because I'm a gay man who loves films about us, and about our struggles, and to see how far we've come.
