They might want to see numbers at the cinema to determine if they go ahead with 3, they say its fans who want it but how many fans is that?

man i remember watching this at the pics when i was a kid although my kids have seen it i will be dragging them to it. and as for ghostbusters 3 bring it on when the lights go down and the music starts and the hairs on the back will stand up and i will sit back and enjoy the film and the first two will not be ruined whether good or bad. and @jasonkat i agree on all but vamp and Halloween 3 you forgot one of the best horrors john landis an american werewolf in london, what about nightbreed, jaws, terminator, bad taste, brain dead (peter jacksons film as there are others with same name), meet the feebles, original piranha, the blob remake, could go on forever.

I really dont want a Ghostbusters 3 lol, i loved both 1 & 2 and if 3 doesnt have the same feel n atmos as the first ones, they will have ruined it for me. I think that both could still pass as a quality movie in todays standards. :) x

You know what i wanna see on the big screen too? Ghostbusters 3. I hear Bill Murray keeps making up excuses that it pushes the film to the sideline. So watever the prob is, they better green lite this and hurry up already.
I just hope they dont bring back Peter MacNicol . i always hated that guy's voice, psh.

No TMNT is not a horror but rather 1 of those kids things, but its still a good1, just like king kong not being 1 either but its good for halloween, It doesnt have to b a horror to b on this kinda list, It could even b a superman, spiderman, tron.,

@ejk1 Not so much in my perspective, but what really really needs to return to the big screen is the greatest classic creature icon.......... GODZILLA!!

@moviewiz001 Yeah. Well, the 1933 one anyways. It fits right in with the other monster films of the 30's and 40's. Those films were more of a psychological horror type, not the bloodbath horror type.

@ejk1 King Kong is horror?

@jasonkat Turtles? For Halloween? Hmm...
@moviewiz001 We're talking horror films, and you bring up an epic. Keep up son!! :P

@ejk1 Yea the list goes on, i just named a few to get an idea on wat kinda thing would b sweet for the big screen. Even Movies like
"The Lost Boys,
Night of The Creeps,
Wolfman,
Teenage Mutan Ninja Turtles (1990)
Aliens
the predator (1987)
Fright Night (1985)
And manyyy moreee, lol
If they handpicks hits like these you know damn well people would go see em because its a sort of holiday thing. rather than just hand picking movies out of the blue,

@ejk1 Sure, but I've seen that one on the silver screen. I haven't seen the other in that format.

@dan1 Yeah, but to be honest, I like Jackson's take much more. It's rare, but I have never seen a remake that is that much better than the original. I know Jack Back is miscast, but the relationship between Naomi Watts and Kong was amazing to behold. And the fight against the T-Rex trio? Simply astounding.

@ejk1 I'd be amused to see the original King Kong on the big screen.

@jasonkat Nice picks, but I hope if the studios do this kind of thing that they don't ignore the old classics. I'd really like to see Lugosi's Dracula, Karloff's monster, Chaney's Wolfman, and Rains's Invisible Man on the big screen.

@ejk1 You sir bring up a good idea!!.. Stating that you mention "right month" well i thought it would b really kool if they brought back for 1 month only.. which to me would be "Oct"
And during this month, they could bring back old classics, into theaters, a sort of countdown til halloween, if you will. In other words.. 1or 2 movies per friday til halloween, (oct 31)
And a few ideas would or could be....
Batman (1989)
Ghostbusters
The Birds
The Shining
Halloween 3: Season of witch
Hellraiser
The Exorcist
Halloween (1978)
Other picks..
Texas Chainsaw (1974)
Psycho (1960)
Childs' Play
Vamp
Friday the 13th (1980)
Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
lol. Anyways Just an idea i thought would b great on the big screen, Even tho i know they already do this kinda thing on tv. But theres nothing like 5.1 dts, and all that new kinky chit we have now than they did in the past. Not to mention 3d (which suxs in alot of leveles,)
But you get my point, lol.

As long as no 3D, I'm fine with this.
