The "little friend" he refers to is a nifty little button camera device that apparently took the short videos above.
No one can say for sure if this is actual footage from the Ghostbusters 3 set or not, but we'll keep you posted if any more details emerge.
Ghostbusters 3 comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Sigourney Weaver, Anna Faris, Bill Murray, Eliza Dushku, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Annie Potts, Ernie Hudson. The film is directed by Ivan Reitman.

Part 2 may not had been the best but it didn't suck. You have to be in the right frame of mind to see something like this.

Blasphemy! Let me ask you this, did you like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which is from the same time era, same production value, and creative plot/weirdness just like Ghostbusters. Both GB films are classics and probably my favorite movies next to Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey lol.

dunno about anyone else, this is gonna suck badly in my opinion. I did watch both movies of gostbusters and I kinda hated them so I really am not waiting for anything from this one. and it looks pretty bad already, so I really don't feel like i am going to see it.

With the hype of the videogame and the mass excitement following it's announcement, Ackroyd & Ramis are working on a third with full support from the original actors with a storyline somewhat like that of the Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon series. Training new guys and all. That was short while back. I can't seem to find the article anymore but that's what was announced in a nutshell. So another movie is inevitable I just don't know if this stuff is on the level cuz if so us movie buffs woulda been all over it before now.

Wasn't there a change of plans for GB3 and Bill Murray decided to do a 3rd live action movie after saying for years that he wouldn't? I saw it somewhere were he finally agreed to do a 3rd live action movie. I know he agreed to do the voice in the proposed GB3 cgi version but this was before he finally caved in and said he will do a live action GB3. Can anyone confirm this?

I agree with Zz. So much of filmmaking is insanely transparent these days, and I know people like us just fuel it, but it would be nice to see something come out without knowing every aspect of it prior to release.

besides weren't we still hearing casting rumors, how could they already be shooting this? i hope the rumor bout Seth Rogen and his crew being part of it r true but idk if it is yet.

Why would a pile of garbage be in Transformers lol? People, you need to really think before you speak. The only movie I've seen been made with upmost secret was Cloverfield, but we still knew about a movie called Cloverfield. They haven't announced any type of "Ghostbusters 3" info. I would know, I'm the biggest GB fan on here.

not real. there is no way a production of this size can get away with casting (actual casting, not just rumors), script, location scouting and other preproduction elements... THEN start actually shooting without anyone knowing about it.
i call fake (though i do hope it's true that they're already shooting... just don't see it being possible).
