Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time based on the video game - set in medieval Persia, Earth's mightiest and most mysterious kingdom, where a king and his son defeat the powerful Maharajah and kidnap his daughter, looting his palace of priceless treasure, including an extravagant hourglass, and a mysterious dagger.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time comes to theaters May 28, 2010 from Walt Disney Pictures.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was released May 28th, 2010 and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina, Steve Toussaint, Toby Kebbell, Richard Coyle, Ronald Pickup. The film is directed by Mike Newell.

    This looks interesting but they need to be sure that people know when a time warp happens, or an occurance in time travel.
    I hope they don't do repitition with the theme of time travel.

    I think it looks pretty cool. I wish there was more color, or at least a brief coastal shot. i mean, I like how their filming in Morocco and how it's PoP, but please, have some color, Like Kingdom of Heaven. I'll wait for a trailer to fully see.

    Well, it's apparent that the film won't follow the game storyline, and I figured that knowing how Bruckheimer likes to put his own spin on things, but this plot doesn't seem too bad either. It'll be it's own story. I'm just curious how they're going to work "The Sands of Time" in there, if that's still the game it's based on.
