Get Your First Look at Death Race

Some hooligan over at Youtube has posted behind the scenes footage from Paul W.S. Anderson's upcoming reimagining of Death Race. The quick clip shows the film's dreadnaught in action. Check the video below for all the excitement:


This new film is an update of producer Roger Corman's classic 1975 Death Race 2000, which featured Sylvester Stallone and David Carradine. The new version stars Jason Statham. It opens September 26th, 2008.

Death Race was released August 22nd, 2008 and stars Jason Statham, Joan Allen, Ian McShane, Tyrese Gibson, Natalie Martinez, Max Ryan, Jason Clarke, Frederick Koehler. The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.

    I'm a huge fan of the orginial "Death Race 2000" directed by Paul Bartel W./Sylvester Stallone!
    But this "Re-Make" looks tight, sick & interesting!
    Jason Statham rocks, anything he is in turns out to be a good film! This 1 I "DO" want to see!!
    Can't wait to see Jason Statham in: "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale"!!!

    The "BEST" scene in the orginial "Death Race" involves pedestrians/patients at a hospital being wheeled out in the middle of the road for the racers benefit in honor of "Euthanasia" Day! Need I say more? LOL! Sick fun! Love Cult films!
