The Columbia Pictures film stars Tom Hanks, Ayelet Zurer, and Ewan McGregor.
The adaptation of Dan Brown's novel continues the sleuthing adventures of Robert Langdon (Hanks), a Harvard expert in religious symbols who discovers a conspiracy to destroy the Vatican.
In adapting the hugely successful Da Vinci novel, "I think we may have been too reverential toward it," Grazer says. "We got all the facts of the book right, but the movie was a little long and stagey."
"Weirdly, even though there was so much controversy on The Da Vinci Code, we were able to shoot everywhere," Grazer says. "We were in London, France, so it was harder to catch us."
Because Angels is largely set at the Vatican, "we were pretty much in exile from the religious epicenter of the world," he says.
Despite the contemporary topics, Grazer says the movie has no political undertones. "Both parties, through different means, don't want terrorism to exist in the world," he says.

The movie was overhyped...I remember seeing it and being like 'that's it? That's the big secret? Jesus had a kid? Big whoop. He is love so that would be no surprise. Wouldn't make him a lesser being at all. It'd be a completely f*cking stupid reason to keep a secret. I mean, people would still be impressed of the fact that he was the son of God, with or without him having a baby lol. Who cares, honestly? He could have 10 kids for all I care. He is still the same in my eyes.

yea, the pictures look good, however I just hope that it follows the book a little better than The Davinci Code did.. I was disappointed with that after reading and loving the book.

Angels and Demons is technically a prequal. I never read the books myself but I really enjoyed the first movie and hope the second installment is as good as the first.

The Da Vinci Code was too rushed for me and I didn't connect to the characters as well as I did to the book. So I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for Angels and Demons. I've got a question guys: I've never read the book and this article says it's a sequel, but I've read elsewhere it's a prequel. Which is it? Good pictures.

this is another amazing story, you should all read the book. its funny the about the vatican. also, its pretty funny that these books probably contain more facts than the actual bible.
